Which pitless adapter type do I have?

Although there are different designs of Pitless adapters, their functions the same: most adaptors are made of brass and last the lifetime of the well; those which are made of steel may need to be replaced. Replacement is accomplished by digging to the adapter location, removing the original adapter from the well casing, and welding the new adapter housing (containing the new adapter) to the well casing.
